Beaches

Peruíbe has 32 beach km. The attractive ones are many. Of the wildest urbanizadas beaches to, with varied landscape and many surprises. Valley the penalty to confer!
Piaçaguera

In the verge of Peruíbe to the north with Itanhaém it initiates this beach whose extension of naked land is used only for extrativismo of sand "quartizoza" under domain of Federal Government.

Center

The Peruíbe city located on an extensive coastal plain. Its topography is therefore sufficiently plain, only with light undulations. The line of the beach, for being very extensive, presents rectilinear aspect. Total extension of urban beaches: since the extremity north, until the estuary of the Black river, in the Central beach, they are 13.394 meters. They are ample, they have beaten, fine and dark sand. Good waves for surfe, nautical sports and for fish of hurl. Very they are frequented in the season. In some stretches the beach is illuminated. The avenue of the edge calls Av. Gov.Mário Covas Júnior, however more is known as Av. Side Sea.
 
Costão

It is locked in in the abutments of the Mountain range of the Itatins, being situated enters the Black river and the costões of the Mountain range of the Itatins, making, therefore, part of the federal APA. Índio

Also called as beach of the Fishing boat, located it enters the beach of the Costão and the Prainha. The beach name of the Indian must it the fact of that, it has some years, it inhabited in this beach, solitary, an indian being that its "house" was inside of a crack in the rock. This beach is known mainly by the inhabitants of Peruíbe. Its access is more difficult, therefore it is made by two sufficiently steep tracks, for the hillsides of the mountain range of the Guaraú. Coastal Tipificação:Paisagem. Visual quality of the landscape: Naturalness 100%. Total it is preserved.
Prainha

Or peninsula, which had its form of peninsula, launched to the sea, offers to comfort pra stroll and fishes fan. The panoramic one is something that if cannot forget. Guaraú

Guarauzinho

The right edge of the River Guarau, small lodged beach enters the abutments of the Mount of the Fernando and the tip of the Harpooner. The Guarauzinho shelters costões, waterfalls, river and kills tropical Atlantic, beyond the remainders of the residence of luso Pero Correa. Located in the Red Garça, the access is made through the road of the Guaraú. With an extension of 650 meters and average width of 70 meters, it possesss, still, fine sands. It is used only for scientific research and of ambient education, therefore it is part of the Ecological Station Juréia Itatins.
Baleia

Very small beach that if adjusts enters the hillsides of the Guarauzinho and the Harpooner. Its name must it the fact of the sea be had hurled in its rocks an enormous whale, approximately the 90 years. Still today it has vestiges of some bones of the mammal. The access to the beach is through track, among dense bush. Between the Guarauzinho and the beach of the Whale it meets Rock of the Helmet and the Rock Saint, data its format.
Arpoador

Parnapuã

Located in the Ecological Station Juréia - Itatins, its access is made by a track after the passage of the river Guaraú. With 769 meters of extension and 80,5 meters of average width, its sand is fine and firm. Three families of local inhabitants (caiçaras) only inhabit in the place, without however depriving of characteristics the vegetal and animal life of the place. Its use is only for research and ambient education. It is the landmark of the result of a fight against the time, the Nuclear Reactor. It is enters beaches of Parnapuã and Brava, the Islet of the Boquete and other minors are part of the Flagstone of Parnapuã.
Brava

Juquiazinho

Located in the interior of the Ecological Station Juréia Itatins, the access if gives through the river Guaraú. With 1.310 meters of extension and 57,50 meters of average width. The waves are average and the sand is firm and fine. Its waters are calm and limpid. It has a sufficiently rocky coast and the mountain, where the Atlantic forest is seen without with its preserved characteristics.
Preta

Well small, it is the Rock Two Sisters, who are references in the Nautical Letter. Access for the historical Way of the Emperor.
 
Caramborê

Of rare beauty. Two rapids exist, whose springs shed in the mountain range. Located inside of the Ecological Station Juréia-Itatins, the access if gives through the Guaraú road - It joins or for the track of the Emperor. Its extension is of 543 meters of beaten sand and the average width of 107,5 meters. Tame and green waters. The vision of the sea on the beach of the Caramborê is of extreme beauty. It is observed plain, beach and horizon in very interesting way, therefore, of certain form, prepares the look of the visitor to what it will come to follow: areas with high degree of conservation.
Desertinha

Located in the Ecological Station Juréia-Itatins, the access if gives for the road of Una. Its extension is of 319 meters, with average width of 69 meters the sand is fine and firm, presenting average and constant waves. Used only for scientific research and ambient education.
 
Barra do Una

Vilarejo of artisan fishing, located the edges of the river Joins of the Prelate or Long river. It possesss beach, rocky coasts and excellent places for it fishes fan. It can be sighted the Bulk of the Juréia, Peak Finger of God, Pogoçá, manguezais and restingas. With 2.150 meters of extension and 112 meters of average width. Naturalness - 100%, therefore is about an inserted beach inside of the Ecological Station of the Juréia-Itatins, being total conserved. The presence human being if does not detach in its joint Diversity - Under the ecological point of view, the diversity is maximum therefore in is gifts the sea, the river, the vegetation of fertile valley, restinga, fen, of bush, beyond the vegetation of dunes. Visual elements - blue water of the sea, dark water of the river, sand, vegetation (since the fertile valley until the bush), constructions.
